Your Questions, Answered
-
Your first visit with us is all about YOU — not just your symptoms, but your whole health picture. We’ll sit down together, talk through what’s going on, and really listen. Then we’ll do a thorough nervous system assessment using our INSiGHT scanning technology to see what’s happening beneath the surface. Most first visits are about 60–75 minutes. Come comfortable, come curious, and come ready to feel genuinely seen. We see you.
-
Nope! You can come straight to us — no referral needed. Just give us a call or book online, and we’ll get you set up.
-
Just yourself and any relevant health history you’d like to share — previous imaging (X-rays, MRIs), a list of any current medications or supplements, and your insurance card if you plan to use it. That’s it. We’ll take care of the rest.
-
After your initial visit, follow-up adjustments are typically 15-30 minutes. We’re efficient with your time because we know you have a life to get back to — school pickups, work, all of it.
-
Yes — chiropractic care is one of the safest, most effective forms of natural healthcare available. Our doctors are highly trained, licensed professionals, and we always tailor every adjustment to YOU — your age, your health, your nervous system. We are especially trained in gentle, neurologically focused techniques that are safe for the whole family, including newborns.
-
Most people actually feel relief during or right after an adjustment. Some people experience mild soreness after their first couple of visits — similar to how you’d feel after a good workout — as your body begins to shift and adapt. That’s totally normal and usually fades within a day or two. We always work within your comfort zone and communicate every step of the way.

Item descriptionThe INSiGHT scan is one of the most advanced nervous system assessment tools available. It measures the function of your autonomic nervous system through three components: Heart Rate Variability (HRV), Surface EMG, and Thermography. It’s painless, non-invasive, and gives us an incredibly clear picture of how your nervous system is functioning — way beyond what pain levels alone can tell us. It means we never guess. We measure.
-
Item descriptionA subluxation is when one or more vertebrae in your spine shifts out of alignment, creating stress and interference in your nervous system. It’s not always painful — but it does affect how your brain and body communicate. Subluxations can be caused by physical stress, emotional stress, and chemical stress. We find them and correct them so your nervous system can do what it was designed to do.
-
Item descriptionYes - and it’s one of the most beneficial things a pregnant mama can do for herself and her baby. Chiropractic care during pregnancy is gentle, safe, and tailored to the changes your body is going through. We use modified techniques and special positioning to keep you comfortable at every stage of pregnancy. No medications. No invasive procedures. Just safe, effective support for your body’s incredible work.
-
Item descriptionThe Webster Technique is a specific chiropractic analysis and adjustment designed for pregnant women. It focuses on balancing the pelvis, sacrum, and surrounding ligaments and muscles to reduce tension in the uterus and allow for optimal baby positioning. It’s gentle, effective, and beloved by the pregnant mamas in our Reach family.
-
Item descriptionMamas in our care often report reduced back and hip pain, better sleep, more comfortable round ligament function, improved energy, and a smoother labor and delivery experience. Many OBs and midwives now actively recommend chiropractic care during pregnancy — it’s that good.
-
Item descriptionPlease do. The postpartum period is so often overlooked, but your body just did something extraordinary. Postpartum chiropractic care helps your spine and pelvis realign after delivery, supports hormonal recovery, reduces tension from nursing and carrying baby, and helps your nervous system regulate so you can truly recover — not just survive. You deserve care too, mama. We see you.
-
Item descriptionWe generally recommend waiting at least 2–4 weeks after delivery (or your provider’s clearance), but every mama and every birth is different. We’ll talk through your specific situation and create a plan that feels right for your body and your recovery.
-
Item descriptionYes — and it’s one of the most powerful gifts you can give your baby. The birth process, even a “perfect” delivery, places significant stress on a newborn’s tiny spine and nervous system. Infant adjustments are incredibly gentle — no popping or cracking — just light, precise pressure (often no more than you’d use to test the ripeness of a tomato). Many parents notice significant changes in their baby within just a few visits.
-
Item descriptionSome of the most common things we see in infants include: colic and excessive crying, difficulty latching or nursing, reflux and digestive issues, irregular sleep patterns, torticollis (head tilted to one side), and flat spots on the head. If your baby seems uncomfortable or unsettled and you feel like something is “off,” trust that mama instinct and come in. You know your baby best.
-
Absolutely, and you don’t need a pediatrician referral. Many pediatricians simply don’t have training in chiropractic or neurodevelopment — that doesn’t mean it isn’t valuable. We work alongside your medical team, not against them. Our goal is always the same: a healthy, thriving child.
-
Day one. Literally. We’ve adjusted babies just hours old, and we regularly see children of all ages — toddlers, school-age kids, and teens. The sooner we can remove interference from the nervous system, the better the foundation for lifelong health.
-
For infants, it’s light finger-tip pressure — barely a touch — on specific areas of the spine. For toddlers and young children, techniques are still very gentle and adapted to their size and development. We make it fun and calm. Most kids actually love coming to our office. (We’re kind of a big deal around here. 😄)
-
We often see families with children who have sensory sensitivities, attention challenges, anxiety, or developmental delays. While chiropractic doesn’t “treat” these diagnoses, supporting the nervous system can have a profound effect on how a child’s brain and body regulate stress, sensory input, and overall function. We love partnering with families on this journey — your child is not broken. They may just need nervous system support.
-
We are out-of-network with most insurance providers, which actually gives YOU more freedom and flexibility in your care. We do accept HSA/FSA cards and can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. We’re happy to walk you through everything at your first visit so there are no surprises.
-
Yes! We believe wellness should be within reach — it’s literally in our name. We offer care plans designed to fit your family’s goals and budget. Our team will go over all the options with you after your first visit, and we’ll find something that works.
-
This varies depending on your health goals, how long a concern has been present, and how your body responds to care. After your initial assessment, we’ll share our specific recommendations for YOUR case — no cookie-cutter plans here. Some people start with more frequent visits to get their nervous system stable, then transition to maintenance/wellness care. We always explain the “why” behind our recommendations.
